Landlord Insurance
It is imperative that as a property landlord that you have a Buy To Let insurance policy in place (also known as landlord insurance) to safeguard your investment in the event of a fire, natural disasters or third party liability (for example a car crashing in to your property).
In the event your property becoming uninhabitable due to fire damage, having a landlord insurance policy in place would mean you will be covered for building repairs including cosmetics. The policy would also compensate for any rent payments missed by not having tenants living at the property during this period.
